• 1Our batteries are splash-proof according to protection class IP54. They must not be fully submerged in water, and they will not withstand heavy rainfall under any circumstances. To avoid problems, use a waterproof container or battery bag and place the battery upright and slightly elevated so that it is not permanently submerged in water and water cannot enter the battery from above.
• 2Additional (ballast) weight may be required when used with bait boats. You can get specific advice from your bait boat specialist.
• 3If you use a carrying case for the battery, please make sure that NO water (e.g. rain) stays in the case as this can damage the battery. Water damage is expressly excluded from our warranty.
