The device's 12 ″ full HD IPS touchscreen delivers wider viewing angles and superior image clarity. The display is easy to read with polarized sunglasses even in direct sunlight. Mount multiple displays flat next to each other for an elegant glass cockpit look or install them flush. It also supports the standard USB output for use as a touchscreen display for Windows® and Mac® operating systems.

Your personal Marine system

With the NMEA 2000 network functions and the Garmin marine network, you can easily set up a holistic marine electronics sequence - from radars and autopilots to cameras, instruments and echo sounder. Everything is operated via your chart plotter and released on several displays. For full control of the chart plotter display anywhere on the boat, use the OneHelm ™ function to mirror the display to multiple third-party devices and operate them. In addition, our exclusive OneHelm ™ system coordinates many on-board products from other manufacturers so that you can practically fully control various systems such as digital circuits, lights, stabilization and more via your chart plotter.

Comprehensive connectivity

The premium processor of the GPSMAP® 8412 chartplotter ensures fast image generation, excellent network functions, video transmission and more. Connect the device via the integrated WLAN technology with the free ActiveCaptain® app and get access to OneChart ™, Smart Notifications1, data from the Garmin Quickdraw ™ community and more. Also control video streams from our GC ™ 100 wireless camera and VIRB® action cameras. SmartMode Controls

Echosounders, radars, cameras, media devices and digital circuits in the network can be operated independently or integrated into the SmartMode controllers. With SmartMode, you get quick and easy access to the information you need to make it easier to handle stressful situations like docking.
