Overview

Simrad /Lowrance multifunction display integration

Designed exclusively for Simrad / Lowrance MFD control, the NAC-1 Hydraulic Autopilot Package includes or does not require a dedicated head unit - perfect for smaller vessels with limited helm space. Set course, steer to a waypoint or follow a predefined route directly from the existing touchscreen display – or take control and steer with precision using the NSS evo2 rotary switches.

Dashboard mount auto/standby button

The NAC-1 package includes a remote control, dash mounted auto/standby button for installation at the rudder. So you can easily engage or disengage the autopilot and immediately take manual control.

Automatic turning manoeuvres

Preset turn maneuvers make turns like turning easy and save fuel, more complex turns support activities like fishing, searching for dive sites or mapping your favorite lake with Insight Genesis and the NSS evo2's built-in sonar or a connected SonarHub sonar module.

Depth Contour Tracking

Using real-time depth readings picked up by the onboard sonar or a connected sonar module, the NAC-1 can automatically steer along a depth contour - perfect for anglers fishing off ledges or drop-offs, but also a great way to create a scenic swim to navigate along the shoreline, automatically guaranteeing a safe depth under the keel.

Extremely quiet hydraulic 0.8 l pump

The NAC-1 package includes the high efficiency 'PUMP-1 MKII' 0.8L hydraulic gear pump suitable for powering hydraulic steering systems on inboard and single or twin outboards under 10m (35ft). Highly efficient 12V operation suits smaller vessels, ultra-quiet operation helps ensure time on the water is as comfortable as possible.

VRF (Virtual Rudder Feedback)

Easier autopilot installation and maintenance: Simrad Virtual Rudder Feedback technology means the NAC-1 does not require the installation of a separate feedback unit to track outboard position on single or twin outboard boats.

Easy installation, all included

This comprehensive kit includes everything needed for a professional or DIY installation on boats with single or twin outboards (full list below). Detailed instructions are included, and plug-and-play plug-ins on the NAC-1 autopilot computer help make installation quicker and easier than ever.
