DuraSafe lock for Minn Kota Endura/-Max, Vector, Vantage, Kicker

the only lock that fits most current Minn Kota sterndrive models. It has a one-piece rectangular design, enclosing the motor locking screws to make them inaccessible.

This lock saves the annoying installation and removal of the rear-wheel drive motor and is also inexpensive. It's lightweight and attaches and locks in seconds.

The lock features a cushioned inner lining, reversible keys for easy insertion, and a locking system that prevents key removal. This only works if the lock is in the correct locking position.

The block accommodates butterfly lock screws and some rocker arm lock screws from other sterndrive brands.

The system even automatically records the hardness of the soil and vegetation and can place them as an overlay with freely selectable transparency on your electronic nautical chart from Navionics. All APEX 16 MEGA SI + Chartplotters echo sounders have this incredibly practical feature. You have 8 hours of recording time in the echo sounder - a kind of trial subscription. For endless mapping, you then need the additionally available Zero Line SD card, which stores the internal device memory for several years of water exploration. The Zero Line SD card is also included in the scope of delivery of the two full PC versions AutoChart PC and AutoChart PC Pro.

Bluetooth Interface

Like their predecessors, APEX 16 MEGA SI + Chartplotter echo sounders have an integrated Bluetooth interface. With this interface, the echo sounder cannot be remotely controlled, but you can connect your smartphone and display calls, text messages, signal strength and battery status on your APEX 16 MEGA SI + chart plotter. This is useful if you are planning to protect your smartphone from water and the rough everyday fishing.

Dual SD Cart Slots

Each Humminbird APEX 16 MEGA SI + Chartplotter echo sounder is equipped with two SD card slots. The echo sounder enables you to work with your Navionics sea charts at the same time and to save waypoints, screenshots, sonar data and recorded tracks in the second SD card slot. Your Zero Line card for AutoChart Live data, with which you can create individual depth maps, fits perfectly into your second SD slot. So you have the full range of possibilities and you can expect significantly more fish and security on board at the end of your fishing day.

Autopilot

All APEX series echo sounders are compatible with the Humminbird Autopilot System. This system can take over the control of your boat for you and successfully maintains the set course even in wind and waves. You can take the direct and shortest route to your destination or a special route, both of which are set up in no time. The autopilot system is not only convenient and safe, it also helps you save fuel.

Dual Port Ethernet

The APEX series from Humminbird is network-compatible thanks to the two built-in Ethernet connections. This enables you to network several devices with each other, to share waypoints and many other data with each other. In contrast to the other echo sounder series from Humminbird, the APEX series even has two instead of just one connection, which is twice as good in this aspect. Via Ethernet you can ingeniously choose between different encoders available in the network - e.g. a Minn Kota US2 sonar or a Humminbird 360 imaging transducer, which you can then make available to all echo sounders in the network.

NMEA 2000

The NMEA 2000 connection enables the transmission of external data directly to your APEX series echo sounder. Such data can come from a wide variety of devices. Data from the boat engine such as tank content, consumption or the current speed, but also weather data from external modules are possible. No matter what comes together on your echo sounder screen - you are guaranteed to keep an overview. All you need is a connection to the NMEA 2000 capable devices and all data is already present on your state-of-the-art echo sounder screen.

Multimedia platform

Such an extremely powerful echo sounder can of course show more than just fish sickles and sea charts. Therefore it also has a Bluetooth and NMEA interface and is fully network compatible. Build your own Ethernet network on board or turn your Humminbird APEX 16 MEGA SI + Chartplotter into a control center with which you can control the motor control, access to second and third echo sounders or smartphones with text messages and call display. You can even connect the iPilot or the Humminbird 360 Imaging all-round vision sonar.
