ePropulsion Pod Drive EVO electric motor for sailboats

The environmentally friendly alternative to the combustion engine is not only for large yachts. The Pod Drive 1.0 Evo is suitable for small boats up to 1.5 tons and delivers the equivalent of around 3 hp. The next larger Pod Drive 3.0 Evo matches the performance of the Navy 3.0 Evo with all its benefits. The Pod Drive 6.0 Evo, which was launched in 2021, now even offers 9.9 hp and is suitable for boats up to approx. 2.7 tons.

Range

The Pod Drive motors work extremely efficiently thanks to the brushless DC motor. Depending on the engine, battery, boat and body of water, the pod drives easily manage up to one and a half hours at full speed. The connection of additional batteries increases the range even further.
