Batterie Management System

The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) constantly monitors the status of each individual cell and protects them against overcharging, overvoltage and overtemperature, among other things. A premature failure of the storage unit due to environmental influences or incorrect use is prevented in advance by the BMS.

The battery weighs only 14.5 kg and is particularly easy to transport. Due to the absolutely usable capacity, it replaces lead batteries with a capacity of up to 200Ah in practice, despite the extremely light construction.

Arctic function

From a capacity of 100Ah it is possible to retrofit the battery with an Arctic function. This function enables the battery to be charged or discharged without restrictions at ambient temperatures down to -30 ° C. The function optimizes the battery especially for mobile homes, caravans and motorhomes, especially in cool climates. The system consists of two heating elements, which are controlled fully automatically by the BMS, which use the charging current to bring the cell temperature constantly above freezing point and thus guarantee maximum charging and discharging performance even at extreme temperatures.
