The new Protruar series was fundamentally redeveloped in the area of engine technology and design. The motors are available in several power levels (Protruar 1.0 with 600 watts at 12 volts / Protruar 2.0 with 960 watts at 24 volts / Protruar 3.0 with 1440 watts at 24 volts / Protruar 5.0 with 2520 watts at 24 volts).
The new Protruar 1.0 short shaft has been available since model year 2020 and it has a short shaft of 660mm length.
All other motors have a newly designed motor head with a 3-stage battery level indicator and an aluminum shaft with 900mm length (Protruar 5.0 has 1000mm), which can be adjusted in 10 positions. Of course, the depth of the immersion is infinitely adjustable. All motors have a pull-out tiller that is simply clipped into the motor head.
Brushless motors are installed in the Protruar 1.0 / 2.0 / 3.0 / 5.0. They have a stepless speed regulation. The advantages of brushless technology lie in higher efficiency (more power with less consumption), less wear and a longer service life than with brushed electric motors.
Thanks to the newly developed motor technology, both motors are significantly quieter than their predecessor and significantly more effective than brushed motors. The propeller sits directly on the motor shaft. The newly designed motor housing with integrated fin made of aluminum is very solidly processed and flow optimized designed.
