Haswing Protruar 5.0 / 2520W / 24V Brushless

Haswing has completely redeveloped the popular Protruar. This includes engine technology and design.

The brushless motor has a thrust of 160 lbs (approx. 72.5kg) with a maximum current consumption of 105A (continuous output 100A) at 24V.

The new development of the Protruar series 1.0 / 2.0 / 3.0 and 5.0 includes both the engine technology and the design. The Protruar 5.0 is one of the most powerful engines in the HASWING range. In contrast to previous motors, the 5.0 has a stainless steel shaft with a length of 1000mm that can be adjusted to 7 positions. Of course, the immersion depth is infinitely adjustable. The extendable tiller can be tilted both up and down with one hand, which allows for optimal handling. The selected position is locked using an effective rotary switch. The engine fixation on the transom, which has also been redesigned, is made of aluminum.

Brushless motors are installed in all Protruar models. They have stepless speed regulation. The advantages of brushless technology are higher efficiency (more power with less consumption), low wear and a longer service life than brush electric motors. Thanks to the newly developed motor technology, the motors are significantly quieter than their predecessor and significantly more effective. The propeller sits directly on the motor shaft. The newly designed motor housing with integrated aluminum fin is not only solidly manufactured, but also flow-optimized.
