The Blue Smart IP65 charger 12/10 is the choice of the professionals among the battery chargers. The charger is designed to charge 12V batteries of various types and delivers a maximum charging current of 10A. With an efficiency of up to 95%, these chargers generate three to four times less heat than the industry standard. After the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0.5 watts, which is five to ten times better than the industry standard.
Durable, safe and quiet
The low thermal load of the electronic components and the protection against the ingress of water, dust and chemicals, as well as the protection against overheating (the output current is reduced as soon as the temperature rises up to 60 ° C) guarantee a long service life. The charger is completely silent, with no fans or moving parts.
Storage mode: less corrosion on the positive plates
It is of the utmost importance to reduce the charging voltage even further, even if the battery has been connected to the charger for more than 48 hours, as even the lower voltage in the trickle charge phase that follows the constant voltage phase leads to grid corrosion.
Charging process with temperature compensation
The optimal charging voltage of a lead-acid battery varies in the opposite direction to the temperature. The Blue Power IP65 charger therefore measures the ambient temperature during the test phase and balances the temperature during the charging process. Special settings for a cold or hot environment are not required as the temperature is measured again as soon as the charger is in low current mode, in the trickle charge voltage phase or in storage mode.
Recovery of completely discharged batteries
The Blue Power charger tries to recharge completely discharged batteries with a low current and then resumes the normal charging process after sufficient voltage has been built up, in contrast to other chargers with reverse polarity protection, which do not recognize fully discharged batteries and therefore do not recharge.
