Echo sounder and accessories

Further development of the echo sounder

We offer echosounders of all leading manufacturers: from Garmin to Johnson Outdoors with Humminbird, Navico with its well-known brands Lowrance and Simrad as well as Raymarine with its innovative products. New developments such as the patented Side Imaging process, the breathtaking 3D technology deliver breathtaking or photorealistic images of the underwater world. From another perspective, Down Imaging shows you exactly what's going on under your boat. Digital sonar takes our traditional sonar technology to a new level. Chirp (chirping) in signal processing means a signal whose frequency changes over time. In nature, bats use these for locating. In the echo sounder range, the conventional transmitter has so far only ever transmitted one frequency one after the other and compiled a picture from the returning echoes. With CHIRP, the encoder simultaneously emits several different frequencies and analyzes the returning echoes of the different frequencies. Because higher frequencies allow more sensitive echoes and smaller frequencies penetrate deeper, the CHIRP Sonar builds very detailed images, not photorealistic but close to it. CHIRP stands for Compressed High-Intensity Radiated Pulse. Raymarine launched this technique in 2014 for the first time in the fishing industry for echo sounders. In 2016, the 3D technology, first at Garmin, then Lowrance and Raymarine has arrived. From the boat to the bottom of the ground you can see a larger area in 3D and thus know where and at what depth fish are. For the first time, the Raymarine Axiom 3D offers a unique encoder for all functions. The new live transducers named Garmin Panoptix LiveScope, Lowrance Active Target and Humminbird Mega Live Imaging allow the underwater view in real time.
