The TURBO MAGNET - Technology

sets a new benchmark for the current draw money while reducing the noise.

The new "Turbo Power" motor has polverbindende intermediate magnets and an armature which is composed of 12 segments. As a result, the magnetic fields are compressed and accurate tests have shown that this technology eliminates dead spots in the magnetic field. Thus, the thrust force increases, and voltage spikes are virtually eliminated. These spikes are the cause of noise, thus MINN KOTA engines run quieter and quieter than other electric outboards.
   The COOL - POWER - Technology

causes MINN KOTA engines operate at a lower operating temperature of about 100 degrees. Comparable motors reached in a few minutes inner engine operating temperatures up to 260 degrees C. At this temperature, tin begins to melt!

Hot engines do not work efficiently and lose long trips up to one third of its thrust (see chart). High temperatures are always "energy loss" (engineers know that energy can not be destroyed but can only be converted into an undesirable shape as thermal energy).

The MAXIMIZER - system for all continuous Minn Kota motors

All Minn Kota motors with variable speed control are equipped with the Digital Maximizer technology. In this technique, the direct current is transformed into a bustling with 20,000 current pulses per second. The amount of current that is supplied to the engine is adjusted by a rotary switch. Thus, no power is lost through resistors in various circuit elements.
Motors with digital Maximizer technology found at maximum speed setting of the battery the same amount of electricity as equivalente motors with mechanical stage circuit. However, at a reduced speed the run time of the motor when the battery charge is extended up to 5-fold by digital microprocessor. Especially for towing fisherman who appreciates accurate and low speeds, Digital Maximizer technology is a huge advantage.

Motors with Maximizer found at 100% capacity of the battery, the same amount of electricity as a motor with stage circuit. At reduced speed but the Maximizer can prolong the life of the engine with a battery charge up to four times.


The 3X - control
