ePropulsion I-20 inboard
Pioneering, intelligent solutions for electric boat propulsion
With the ePropulsion I series, the innovative manufacturer of electric boat drives now also offers inboard motors.
There are three models to choose from for leisure or commercial applications.
The future of boat propulsion is clean
ePropulsion offers powerful, electric boat drives for more sustainability on the water. ePropulsion motors do not pollute the environment with harmful emissions, are safe and easy to use, odorless and quiet even at high speeds. The electric motors impress with their reliability, functional and attractive design and excellent value for money. Operation is intuitive and thanks to digital displays, all important information is available at all times. ePropulsion offers the current state of the art.
- Space-saving and light - approx. 60% lighter and smaller than typical internal combustion engines
- Long-lasting and powerful lithium iron phosphate battery
- Easy installation
- Engine electrics are factory installed
- Low-maintenance - significantly lower maintenance requirements compared to combustion engines
ePropulsion I-20 inboard
Inboard I-20 with 20 kW power, which is suitable for boats up to approx. 10,000 kg displacement or light planing boats. The electric drive is water-cooled (2-circuit system) and has a gearbox. The motor runs on 96 V.
- Housing and plug connection are waterproof according to IP 67
- Battery Alert: an audible warning alerts you to a low battery status
- Emergency stop magnetic chip - the electric motor stops as soon as the chip is removed
- Significantly easier maintenance and installation than a conventional diesel
Comfort in operation
- Battery and engine data can be accessed from anywhere via a cloud system
- Plug & Play connection to the batteries (makes the installation easier for you)
- Location, speed, battery capacity, charging time and much more information can be called up on your smartphone
- Infinitely variable speed control leads to efficient consumption
- Tracking and evaluation of journeys possible (also via several accounts)
- You can set up guest access to the IoT system and there are fleet reports
Range of the ePropulsion I-20
Driving time and range depend on your battery. With a 40 kWh battery you can reach the following range:
- Your ePropulsion I-20 lasts a good two hours under full load.
- At 1/2 power, your driving pleasure lasts for a 4-hour trip at a decent cruising speed.
- If you are planning longer tours on the water, you can go much further with less power. At 1/4, 20 kWh is easily enough for 8 hours of driving.
The battery should be determined depending on the boat weight and the planned range.
Controlling the ePropulsion I-20
The smart throttle lever from ePropulsion comes with a 5" display for the best possible overview of all driving values. The display is therefore significantly larger than on the smaller outboards.
At release there will be a top and side throttle. Each in single or dual version. A twin system is therefore possible for each of the inboards.
Technical features:
- Light weight - 45 kg including all components
- Compact motor design: Motor, gearbox, controller, control unit and water cooling in one housing. This makes the installation much easier
