Dual Channel Chirp Sonar

Dual Sonar offers you the possibility to connect your APEX 13 MEGA SI + chart plotter to all Humminbird sonar options, as well as an additional connection for 2D CHIRP converters with up to 2 kW. The integrated converter ID enables the quick and easy installation of Airmar® converters.

Dual Spectrum CHIRP

Before you start fishing, you should know what is down there. Thanks to long, well-defined fish sickles, you have a much better view of fish identification and soil structure. Dual Spectrum, powered by our proprietary Low Q CHIRP transducer, offers two search options: wide mode for maximum coverage and narrow mode for maximum detail.

AutoChart Live

Would you like to create your own river map, independent of location and live? Then AutoChart Live from Humminbird is just right for you - as this system makes live mapping possible, as is otherwise only possible with Garmin. The system even automatically records the hardness of the soil and vegetation and can place both as an overlay with freely selectable transparency over your electronic nautical chart from Navionics. All APEX 13 MEGA SI + chart plotters CHO echo sounders have this extremely ingenious and practical function. You have up to 8 hours of recording time available in the echo sounder - almost a trial subscription. For endless mapping, you then need the additionally available Zero Line SD card, which converts the internal device memory to several years of water exploration. The Zero Line SD card is also available in the scope of delivery of the two full PC versions AutoChart PC and AutoChart PC Pro.

Bluetooth Interface

APEX 13 MEGA SI + chart plotter CHO echo sounders have, like their predecessors, an integrated Bluetooth interface. With this Bluetooth, the echo sounder cannot be operated remotely, but you have the option of coupling your smartphone with the echo sounder and displaying calls, text messages, signal strength and battery status on your APEX 13 MEGA SI + CHO chart plotter. This proves to be useful if you want to protect your smartphone from water and rough everyday fishing.

Dual SD Cart Slots

Each Humminbird APEX 13 MEGA SI + Chartplotter CHO echo sounder is equipped with two SD card slots. This enables you to work with your Navionics sea charts and at the same time save waypoints, screenshots, sonar data and recorded tracks in the second SD card slot. In the second SD slot, your optionally available Zero Line card for AutoChart Live data fits perfectly, with which you can create individual depth maps. So the whole range of possibilities is open to you and you can enjoy significantly more fish and safety on board at the end of your fishing day.

Autopilot

The APEX series echo sounders are all compatible with the Humminbird autopilot system. This system is able to take over the control of your boat and to keep your course successfully even in wind and waves. You can take the direct and shortest route to your destination or you can take an individual route, both of which are set up in no time. The autopilot system is not only convenient and safe, it also helps you save fuel.

Dual Port Ethernet

The APEX series from Humminbird is network-compatible thanks to the two built-in Ethernet connections. This enables you to network several devices with each other, share waypoints and many other data with each other. In contrast to the other Humminbird echo sounder series, the APEX series even has two connections instead of just one connection! You can conveniently choose between different encoders via Ethernet - e.g. a Minn Kota US2 sonar or a Humminbird 360 imaging transducer, which you can then make available to all echo sounders in the network.
