The Haswig Protruar 3.0 - 12V is the new development of the Protruar series 1.0 / 2.0 / 3.0 in engine technology and design. Like all Haswing Protruar 3.0 motors, this one is also brushless. The advantage of this technology lies in its efficiency (more power, less consumption), minimal wear and thus a longer service life compared to brush motors. The speed can be continuously regulated. The new Haswing Protruar 3.0 - 12V motors are significantly quieter than their predecessors and significantly more effective than brush motors. With only 12V it offers the same power as the 24V version. The sensible operation should be done with lithium-based batteries, as the high currents significantly shorten the life of lead-based batteries. In contrast to the previous motors, this one has a stainless steel shaft with a length of 900mm. This can be fixed in 7 positions and the immersion depth can be infinitely adjusted. The tiller is extendable and can be tilted both up and down on the handle and locked there with a rotary knob. The engine mount, which has also been redesigned, is made of aluminum.
